「賴永發工作室」及「竹風藝品館」座落於苗栗三義知名的木雕街水美街上，由 賴永發 先生及其妻 曾美華 小姐於1990、1996年相繼成立，投入木雕產業四十餘年的賴永發先生，對於木雕的熱情始終如一，至今踏入工作室依然能看到賴永發先生持續突破自我、創作新作品的背影。
在這相同的空間裡，除了有琳瑯滿目、獨一無二的雕刻作品，以及賴家的生活氣息，也可以見到 曾美華小姐不同於先生的竹編藝術展現，從剖竹到編織，製作過程都親自把關品質，片片竹篾，層層疊出多樣竹藝。
與三十年前不同的是，在這沐浴著竹木芬芳的工作室內，如今多了一個年輕的身影，木雕第二代 賴俊暐 先生於2014年回到三義，師承父親，日日學習著木雕藝術的傳統技法，識料、選料、發想、雕刻、細摩、上漆，每道工序同樣不假他人之手，現已是一位獨當一面的木雕師。
賴家對於傳統木雕這項技藝秉持著傳子亦傳賢的想法，於近年參與多項推廣活動，也包括由工作室主辦開設的木雕課程，期望能透過多元的管道讓對傳統木雕產業有熱忱的新興學子有更多機會可以傳承賴老師的技藝。

"Lai Yong Fa Woodcarving Studio" and "Zhu Feng Art Gallery" are located on Shuimei Street, a famous wood carving street in Sanyi, Miaoli. They were established by Mr. Lai Yong Fa and his wife, Ms. Zeng Mei Hua, in 1990 and 1996. With steadfast enthusiasm, Lai Yong Fa has invested more than 40 years in the wood carving industry. Today, when you step into the studio, you can still see him constantly breaking through himself and creating new artworks.
In the studio, in addition to a large number of wood carving artworks and the living atmosphere of the Lai family, you can also see Ms. Zeng Mei Hua's bamboo weaving artworks. Each piece of bamboo art work is created layer by layer from pieces of bamboo strips cut by Ms. Zeng. By processing entire production process in person, Ms. Zeng may ensure quality all by herself.
The difference from thirty years ago is that there is now a young figure. Mr. Lai Junwei, the second generation wood carver, returned to Sanyi in 2014, studying under his father's tutelage and learning every day. Following the traditional techniques of wood carving, including material identification, material selection, idea creation, carving, polishing, and painting, each process is done by his own hands. Now he is definitely worthy of being called a wood carver.
The Lai family adheres to the idea of passing down the skill of traditional wood carving from generation to generation. In recent years, Lai family has participated in a number of promotion activities. Also, the studio have opened wood carving courses, hoping students with enthusiasm for the industry have more opportunities to inherit Lai Youg Fa’s skills.
